Cf Santiago
Inspired by religious plaques, old printing documents and colonial lettering. The style of this Roman capital font is traditional from Spain and the Basque country. Santiago de Chile, my home city, shows the colonial catholic influence in the architectural details of churches and tombs. The plaques of petition or thanksgiving for miracles “favors granted” to Catholic saints are part of my own childhood accompanying my Mother on prayer dates.
This alphabet has only capital and small caps. With several alternative characters (A, R, Y) in different style groups. The capitals are even more flexible, with alternatives of Uncial inspiration. In addition to ligatures symbols and various groups of numbers.
